Our classic crewneck body gets an on-trend refresh in genuine Japanese indigo. The fabric is a reverse weave french terry, which is a genuine indigo dyed cotton that comes to us from Japan's A-Girl's, a family owned mill based in Wakayama. And it is cut on the cross grain for a vintage feel. The seams are a dark indigo.A V beneath the neck known as the dorito complete the look. (The V was once a technical innovation both allowing football players to pull the sweatshirt over a helmet and as a means for wicking sweat away from the neck.) This style is part of our Okura Capsule. Okura means warehouse in Japanese, and Todd has designed a capsule that's meant to feel as if you stepped into a vintage warehouse in Harajuku that's loaded with workwear, indigo and other East-meets-West hommages to Ivy League, ski and surf style.
